Sound Card Conflicts

To check your sound card for conflicting settings:

   For Windows(R) XP*:

  1. For Windows XP, Click Start on your taskbar, then select Control Panel.

  2. Double-click the System icon, click the Hardware tab at the top and then choose the Device Manager tab.

  3. Double-click Sound, Video, and Game Controllers, then double-click your specific sound card.

  4. Select the Resource tab and check the Conflicting device list for any conflicting devices.

   For Windows Vista(R)*:

  1. For Windows Vista, Click Start on your taskbar, then select Control Panel.

  2. Double-click the System icon, click the Hardware tab at the top and then choose the Device Manager tab.

  3. Double-click Sound, Video, and Game Controllers, then double-click your specific sound card.

  4. Select the Resource tab and check the Conflicting device list for any conflicting devices.

You may obtain updated drivers from a variety of places. Most hardware retailers have access to the most recent drivers. Please make every effort to install the latest drivers before contacting Activision Customer Support.

*All Operating Systems may not be supported by your game, please check the minimum system requirements here or look for it to be printed on your game box.
